so finally, the haute couture show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was really awesome watching the fruit of my labor! the past month, ive been calling buyers, arranging the guest list for the show, and most importantly the model castings. this was truly amazing.

the night consisted of:

arriving at 5 pm with my lovely interns.

jumpsuit gang.

testing out the runway at 6:30

HAUTE COUTURE @ 7

drinking some champagne in the amex after party

chilling with thimister

and last but not least....

dinner at chez omar with the gang.

tori amos.

i'm sure everyone had a tori amos phase. my tori amos phase began a while back when i started listening to this guy by the name of matthew luke sandoval. i hope he gets famous soon because i think he really deserves it.

it's funny to look back and see that i started listening to amos because of a youtube video. i think it is also the idea that tori amos dedicated this song to his brother that past away that makes this song what it is. well here it is:

yesterday, i spent a good deal of the day doing model fittings. most of them from ford models. (annie you would be proud).

after that, i met this man by the name of jean-francois..i know...so french.

he's going to be the artistic director and he had quite an impressive resumé.

previous clients were marc jacobs and louis vuitton.

notably the art direction to these ads with stephen sprouse as the art collaborator:
