uh-oh. does tavi censor her blog???

prada, prada, prada. it seems like prada has taken an initiative this season to "thank" their bloggers for the attention this year. over at bryanboy (i'm still studying bc im currently perplex by why its so 'great'), the blogger received his 'first' invitation from prada.

and after doing my blog runs, i went to tavi's style rookie blog and saw that she just received a beautiful dress from prada. the quite infamous 'lip' dress.

however, looking at all the comments, it seems to me tavi has gone a bit psycho keeping all the 'positive' stuff on there and well....deleting the 'negative' remarks on her blog. duh duh duh!!!

then again, if i recall, she's 13.

ME WANT TRANPARENT COAT!!!!!!!!!

so some people hate anna, some people love her, some people hate her but feels the need to love her.

for me, i've always been indifferent. sure, she's everywhere, it doesn't matter if you're in fashion week in milan (which they evidently 'dont care' since they wouldnt adjust the fashion week dates for her) or in paris, she's still quite important in the fashion world. if the usage of 'quite' was an understatement to some of you fashionnistas out there, then...well i'm sorry.

well for me, i think she definitely dictates the fashion world these days (wtf thakoon??? a sack of potatoes in ma mind)..but she does have a 'sense' when it comes to some new stuff. like him. yes him! the man that recycles and uses transparent stuff... you know what i'm talkin' about......PATRIK ERVELL!!

this guy makes things pretty simple...kinda reminds me of a french chain here in paris, a.p.c. but i really do like the simple looks here. kinda gives me a feel of a morph between jil sander (w/o intense colour blocking...gah raf gahhhh) and some a.p.c. with some other crazzy element added to it.

generic runway pic from getty.

some tommy ton action:

ma dream coat!

this shows me that the vogue fashion fund does fund some talents, not any n'importe quois like thakoon. yes, i'm 'h8tin'.

a clip from work.

hey, so we found another clip to what seems to be a russian fashion channel interview during thimister's haute couture show.

it was such a great time organizing the show at palais de tokyo!

elijah wood is creepy and meet the wintor of 2045.

hello. this is old news for those of you that are really 'into fashion' and may be even an 'insult' that i'm 'featuring' her right now like shes someone new, but meet tevi, the future wintour:

who's skinnier?

so usually when people know me, they'll realize that i would never put "too skinny" in my vocabulary. why? not because i appreciate bulimia or anorexia but i like the aesthetics of a thin and proportional model. however, i really think this pulls the plug on the idea of "skinny" and being "androgynous".

here's a photo from a designer that i really like, rad hourani. i really think his concept is pretty cool.

it pretty much translates to the fact that hourani thinks everyone is born unisex, so why don't we all make clothes unisex.

tights. check.

tights on guys? check.

but hey, take a look here from the runway:

obviously, we can tell who is the guy here, the MAN on the right. however, WHO HAS SKINNIER LEGS???

i find this a bit creepy.

but props on the color scheme hourani, i LOVE black.

more update.

so life has been good.

went to london last weekend...checked out brick lane (which to my fellow norwegian friend martin is very unauthentic and that i have no idea what i am talking about), wagamama, masala zone, beyond retro, freud's bar, selfridges, lock tavern up by camden, and many more! it was a blast to spend the weekend with my crazy wife.

aside from that, haute couture went pretty well. since classes began and my thimister internship is rolling...i sadly missed the dior show...which evidently was one of galliano's most "extravagent" & "theatrical" haute couture. however, despite the excellent cutting, draping, and execution, i think 2010 isn't exactly the age of marie antoinette. i did however make another show...lefranc ferant...which..to say the least....terrible!!!!

here are the two designers before the show started:

another big news....vicki came to visit!!!! here's a short synopsis. baguettes, pompidou, chorizo, louvre, boursin, eiffel, falaffels, notre dame, pesto chorizo pasta, catacombs, and PHO.

yes, we ate ALOT!

and like every post i have, here are some video's that i've found recently that are interesting.

for once, doillon is doing something while charlotte is still busy bragging about her underwhelming irm album much like her dad's 'epic' vie heroique.
