today my rock & roll history prof asked us the question.

do you own a blog?

i answered yes. of course, bloggin is the most "culturally relevent" phenomenon yet...

do you critique music?

uh kinda.

well no one cares.

well, do ppl care? do ppl look at my blog and sneer at the music agendas or are they really listening to what i push upon in here?

do alts look at ma blog and criticize the UN-authentic stuff on here???

well, i think i will push ma taste to you guys no matter what happens.


today i went on hro and saw this hilarious pic.

it's about the new phenomenon. the xx. i agree with da blogger in that the xx is becoming a sort of one hit wonder in the indie world. perhaps even a one hit album.

here's my review of the xx.

they sound great.

the female in the group sounds like the alt-femme in the blow.

the guy sounds like "he doesnt care enough" since "he's too cool" but he sounds great.

they look a lil 1995 emo. (don't shop at hot topic).

otherwise, we'll have to wait for their concert to see if they are "authentic" enough to be "relevent" in the coming years.
